About Me!

Kate Toomer (BCCSDip.AdvCanBhv & Dip.FDAg) – Founder/Owner/Trainer at Dogs Club.
After years of front line customer service and owning/managing retail catering/coffee shops, in 2016, I eventually decided to follow my passion to work with Dogs.
I have a natural affinity with Dogs and a great affection and respect for their welfare. I invest an enormous amount of effort to ensure that all the dogs are well cared for and well handled as well as providing an excellent service for my human customers.
After qualifying as a Fun Dog Agility Coach [Distinction], which is very much based on focus and communication, I was further inspired to continue studying dog behaviour to enable a richer understanding of how our dogs learn and how we can help them thrive.
I’ve completed my HND/Foundation Degree (Level 5) Advanced Applied Animal Behaviour (Canine), in addition to Level 3 and 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma [Distinction], Dogs & Children Certificate, Dog Training Instructors Course, a Separation Anxiety Webinar and a qualified Fun Dog Agility Coach [Distinction].
I am also very involved with Brighton Dogwatch, who are an incredible non-profit, local group, based on facebook with the support of a tremendous following of over 13k local people, helping reunite lost and stolen dogs in and around our region.

From November 2024 – New Mental Exercise Courses started and from Summer 2025, then our twice monthly ‘On-Track’ Training Classes have continued for the foreseeable future – PRESS HERE for more information
